TAG: The Christmas Tag

Hi lovelies!
I saw this tag over on Hannah's blog and I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon, especially seeing as I'm feeling mega festive right now!

Q. What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
I just absolutely love Christmas full stop so find it hard to choose just one thing. I love how everyone is happier, I love buying and wrapping presents, I love the atmosphere round the shops and I love spending the time with my family... I also absolutely love the annual Christmas dance balls I go to!! They are full of lovely dancers and the whole thing is very festive... To be honest, its just a chance to wear a pretty dress and be a lady for once! ;)

Q. What is your favourite make up look for the festive season?
For me, its all about having a flawless looking base. There are always TONNES of pictures being taken over Christmas period and I like my skin looking as good as it can... So, my make up look would be a perfect base, a gold/brown eye with lashings of mascara, a bit of blush and a bright coloured lipstick.
Q. Real tree, or fake tree?
I've never had a real tree. My auntie and uncle had them when we were younger and I remember them always moaning about the mess it made! Haha... Fake is much more low key and easier!!

Q. Giving or receiving presents?
Both! Lets face it, who doesnt like receiving presents, right?? Lets be honest here... It's exciting and brings out your inner child! I also love love love giving presents. I like seeing peoples faces when they open their present from me and I love how appreciative people are. I get really excited when I've picked out a great present for people... There are currently 6 days until Christmas and I keep asking if people want their presents early!!

 Q. Do you open your presents in the morning, or evening?
Definitely in the morning without fail!! I'm too excited to wait any longer than I have to! I go between 3 houses on Christmas day though, so present giving/receiving lasts most of the day!

Q. Handmade or shop bought Christmas cards?
I wish I could say handmade, alas, my creativity skills are 0/10 and if I attempted to make a card, it would look like a 2 year old had made it, blindfolded. Shop bought Christmas cards all the way for me!

 Q. Whats your favourite Christmas film?
This was so easy... Normally I'm rubbish with choosing a film but for me, it has to be 'Santa Claus' with Dudley Moore in it. It was released in 1985 so it's older than I am BUT, I watch it every Christmas eve without fail. As a child, I would sit with my brother and watch it in the afternoon (we watched it so much, the tape broke) so now I sit and watch it by myself if I can find it on Sky! I love it.

Q. Whats your favourite Christmas food?
I actually can't choose... I just love food in general and Christmas is the time to eat whatever you want, yes? I'm a massive fan of pigs in blankets and stuffing is pretty good too... I also love sticky toffee pudding... I hate Christmas cakes/puddings and mince pies etc, so my auntie always gets me my own pudding! Yay.

If you decide to do this tag, let me know in the comments below so I can check it out.

Love and stuff

  2. Lovely tag! I have never had a real tree too, and I totally agree - they are way more low key and less hassle! Fake tree all the way! <3
