Mum, 9 years ago you left us.
9 years ago we said goodbye, we kissed you and we cried.
You were taken far too early, and still we don't know why.
9 years may be a long time, but it doesn't seem that way. Sometimes it feels forever and others just yesterday.
I would like you to come back please, I don't want to sit and cry.

I know how hard it is losing a parent, even years on you still feel the massive gaping hole of pain from that loss. Big hugs to you today, I hope it isn't all sad, and you can celebrate the happy memories you have with your mum xo
