My outfit and face.

Hey ladies!!
Just a quick face and outfit post for you! :)

Last night, I went to a Tango dance ball in Winchester which was absolutely phenomenal. I was super nervous cos I had never done a Tango ball before and I was panicking that I wouldnt be good enough, I wouldnt know enough people and would spend most of the night sitting down, etc etc. You know how it is, going to a new place!

Obviously, going to a new, rather grand event means every girl is going to panic about make up, clothes and hair, (in that order) right? Anyway, this is what I came up with...
FACE: Clarins instant touch primer, Revlon photoready foundation in 'nude beige', Rimmel stay matte powder in 'transparent', Sleek bronzer and highlight kit in medium (I think!), Natural Collection blush in 'pink cloud'
EYES: Maybelline gel liner in 'black' all across and under lid as a base, Urban Decay basics pallette shade 'crave' Urban Decay naked palette shades 'buck, half baked and sin', Natural Collection eyeshadow in 'chestnut' on eyebrows, MUA clear mascara,  Maybellines The Rocket mascara, Rimmel Scandaleyes kohl liner.
LIPS: Maybelline lipgloss in 'nude pearl

Wow! That is a LOT of make up. Firstly, my foundation DID match my face, but despite it being a photo foundation, it still gives me a ghost face when doing a close up shot with the iPhone! LAME! I thought seeing as I had a basic red dress to wear, that I would go OTT with the eye makeup which obviously meant the rest of my make up had to stay pretty neutral!

This is my outfit of the night...
Dress, shoes and jacket: New Look. Necklace: Primark
This is one of my bestest dance friends Andy! :) I'm not gonna lie, I had a bit of a dress disaster. The dress is actually strapless, but a strapless dress and 5 hours of dancing means several near misses of boob flashage. That is never good - moral of the story, wear a dress with straps. Anyway, I improvised and pulled the waist tie thing round my neck and made a halterneck. Haha!! I also kept my hair relatively simple because I didnt want to look too 'done' if you know what I mean? Also, sorry for the awful picture, this was taken at 1.15 in the morning and I had been dancing since 8. I also didnt dance in my wedges ;)
Here is a close up of my hair... Well, relatively close up anyway haha. I shoved it in french plaits the night before and then put it in a ponytail on the day. Simples! Yay for 'action' shots ;)

What do you ladies think of this look?

Love and stuff
